Now I got myself locked up in prison again...but no new cards yet...apart from Starvation Day

I really like the way that injecting a heap of extra "this connection or that one?" cards prompts you to come up with a hierarchy of who you love more than others - for example, I'll take the Church over devils or bohemians any day, but I'd sell it out to the Great Game just as readily.

I've been in prison for two days now and can't seem to find any way out - none of the storylets lead anywhere and none of the cards is helpful.  I only joined about 3 days ago so after a brief exploration of the city I landed back in prison and I am getting very bored and frustrated as I don't have enough resources to buy my way out it seems.  Any ideas??

Newromancer: You leave the prison after your Suspicion level drops to 0. However, if you have any items that increase your suspicion beyond 0 (for example, prison mask and garments, pirate hat, or the prison shiv). If you haven't been playing for long, the prison garments are the most likely suspect.

If your Suspicion level is otherwise at 0, you should be able to get out as soon as you take off your prison rags and mask... And go naked out into the streets, I guess!

Your concept about mirrors is frighting me.

So I have concluded two 'fascinated' storylets involving an heiress and a crook of some kind, but I am still locked when 'fascinated 1' storylets turn up... how is that?  Do I get 'fascinated' from somewhere else then?  Sorry I am new to this and I would have thought if I had to get fascinated to 5 by concluding the storylets then I would safely have it by now...

I need to get to the "State of some confusion" hotel for the insane for my ambition, but when my nightmares top out now I end up in the mirror marches!  It's nice for the switchup, but how can I get into the normal madness area?  I've ended up in the mirror marches twice now.  =(

@Newromancer: Fascinating... is a temporary quality that you need to raise each time.

@Shaera: You should find there's a route from the place you mention to the other place you mention (it may not have been showing up before)

Just letting you know about what might be a bug-- I've never been to New Newgate, but I got the patron card. It was a bit ago, but I believe it was tied to a visit to the Tomb Colonies (working off my scandal). If not the Tomb Colonies, the State of Confusion Hotel is the only other option. But either way, I've NEVER been to the Prison after my initial escape.
